This year’s Steam Apprentice Club competitions once again highlighted the incredible creativity running through our apprentice community. Entries poured in from across the country, showcasing inspiring talent in colouring, drawing, photography and model-making. The judges faced an exceptionally tough task, as the standard of work and level of imagination were higher than ever.
From beautifully drawn engines and vibrant colouring entries (see Raising Steam), to inspired photographs and meticulously built models, the standard was exceptional. Each submission reflected not just skill, but a real love for our steam heritage.
On behalf of everyone at the Steam Apprentice Club, our Chairman extends heartfelt thanks to all who took part. Your enthusiasm, effort and creativity keep the spirit of steam alive and ensure the future of the hobby continues to flourish. Congratulations to all our winners and every entrant alike.
